Student Sharing

The IVE Engineering Higher Diploma covers various engineering areas and provides opportunities to engage with new technologies such as BIM, helping me grasp the digitalisation trend in the engineering industry. I have worked with a team using 4D BIM models to simulate construction scenarios for railway projects, adding a time axis to the existing 3D drawings to understand the construction process better and accelerate construction efficiency. BIM serves as a common language for all participants in engineering projects, enhancing design and construction efficiency, approval speed, and post-delivery maintenance management. There is a strong demand in the industry for engineering professionals who can master the application of new technologies.
