課程全面 各適其適
VTC
開辦多元化的職業專才教育課程，
為學生開拓多方面的進修和事業發展機
會。
2015/16
年度，入讀職前課程的本
地及非本地學生合共有
57,900
名。我
們持續檢討及更新課程內容，確保職前
課程配合最新的教學方法與經濟發展，
與時並進。
年內，我們的高級文憑新增了醫務中心
營運、舞台及佈景設計、檢測及認證等
課程。在基礎課程文憑方面，我們又開
設了長者與復康服務分流，畢業生的資
歷獲社會福利署承認，可註冊為保健員。
除了高級文憑課程，
VTC
轄下的香港高
等教育科技學院
(THEi)
也開辦專業為本
的學士課程，令香港的高等教育更臻多
元。學院繼續肩負使命，年內已編訂測
量學、零售管理、資訊及通訊科技範疇
的新課程，於
2016/17
學年招生。
Comprehensive Provision
for School Leavers
The wide selection of our VPET
programmes opens up numerous
educational and career possibilities for
our students. In 2015/16, a total of
57,900 local and non-local students
were enrolled in pre-employment
programmes. The VTC’s pre-employment
programmes are continually reviewed
and updated to ensure they evolve
with the changing pedagogical and
economic landscapes.
During the year, new programmes
were offered at the HD level in such
areas as Medical Centre Operations,
Stage and Set Design, and Testing
and Certification. We also introduced
an Elderly and Rehabilitation Services
stream in the Diploma of Foundation
Studies programme, under which
graduates will be recognised by the
Social Welfare Department and eligible
for registration as health workers.
In addition to these HD programmes,
the VTC offers Degree programmes with
a strong vocational and professional
orientation through Technological and
Higher Education Institute of Hong
Kong (THEi), adding to the diversity of
higher education in Hong Kong. During
the year, it continued this commitment
by introducing new programmes in
surveying, retail management, and
information and communications
technology, which will admit students in
the 2016/17 academic year.
