職學計劃
VTC Earn & Learn
職學計劃由政府、
業界及
VTC
三方協力推行，對象是中三
至中六學生及合資格的成年學員。計劃
提供有系統的培訓，配以清晰的事業發
展階梯，學員在受訓期間更可賺取穩定
收入。
VTC
自
2014
年起與汽車、建造、機電工
程、印刷、零售、鐘錶、檢測與認證等人
力需求殷切的行業合作推行先導計劃。這
項計劃下的首屆基礎課程文憑（零售業）
課程第一批學員已完成
18
個月的培訓，
並於
2016
年
3
月順利畢業。由於反應理
想，
VTC Earn & Learn
職學計劃將會延
展，惠及額外約
2,000
名學員。
此外，
VTC
亦負責管理學徒訓練計劃，
透過系統化的職場培訓，讓學員掌握事
業發展所需的技術才能，成為離校學生
具價值的進修選擇。在
2015/16
年度，
逾
2,000
人參加遍及
70
多個行業工種的
學徒訓練計劃。
In view of the encouraging response,
the VTC Earn & Learn Scheme will be
further extended, with some 2,000
more students expected to benefit.
The VTC also administers
apprenticeship schemes that offer
school-leavers valuable choices
to receive systematic workplace
training and equip them with the
competence and skills needed for
their professional development. In
2015/16, over 2,000 participants
joined these apprenticeship schemes,
which cover more than 70 trades.
VTC Earn & Learn Scheme
The VTC Earn & Learn Scheme targeting
Secondary 3 to 6 students and eligible
adult learners was launched through
the tripartite efforts of the Government,
industry and the VTC. The Scheme
provides structured training and a clear
career progression pathway in addition
to a stable income for students.
The VTC has been piloting the Scheme
since 2014 in industries with keen
manpower demand, including the
automobile, construction, electrical
and mechanical engineering, printing,
retail, watch and clock, testing and
certification industries. The first
cohort of students, who received their
18-month training as the inaugural
class of the Foundation Diploma (Retail)
programme under the VTC Earn & Learn
Scheme, graduated in March 2016.
