The Journey Ahead

Globalisation has affected every sector

of the world’s economy. Meanwhile,

advances in technology and the advent

of the fourth industrial revolution

are challenging traditional industries

and business models, leading to

unprecedented changes in the

economic and social landscape. This

calls for new forms of education to

foster the skills that societies need,

today and tomorrow.

To this end we continue to enrich

our curricula, utilising advanced

technologies and innovative teaching

methods, while encouraging more

cross-disciplinary collaborations. We

aim to strengthen the soft skills of our

students, and empower and equip them

for success in life.

Like all successful organisations, our

strengths and achievements come from

our people. I should like to extend my

heartfelt appreciation to all parties who

have contributed to the VTC’s success

over the past year: members of our

Council, Committees and Training

Boards; the HKSAR Government,

industries and other supporters in

the community; and of course our

dedicated staff. I thank them all for

their unfailing support.

In the coming year, the VTC will

be entering its 35th year of

establishment. We are looking

forward to celebrating this significant

milestone with all of you.

VTC

VTC

VTC

35
