Boosting Facilities

In 2015/16 we invested significant

resources in campus development.

Capital projects completed during the

year include a new halls of residence

at our Tsing Yi campus.

Meanwhile we are establishing

STEM Education Centres at various

campuses and equipping new training

workshops with virtual reality-based

simulation systems, which will

facilitate authentic learning.

Enhancing Values

Forging Partnerships

As another means of advancing Hong

Kong’s VPET capabilities, we are

creating win-win partnerships with

local and overseas organisations to

achieve greater synergies in vocational

education and research.

Our strong ties with governments and

other partners around the world allow

us to offer our students enriched

learning opportunities, whilst also

enhancing the competencies of our

staff and other VPET practitioners.

One notable example in the past year

was the establishment of Guangxi-

Hong Kong Vocational Education

Development Alliance, a joint venture

between the VTC and Guangxi Zhuang

Autonomous Region Department of

Education. It offers a platform for

the VTC to share its expertise with

institutions in Guangxi and promotes

the development of VPET across the

ASEAN region.

完善設施

2015/16

年度,我們在校園發展方面投

放大量資源。年內,多個建設工程順利

完工,當中包括於青衣新建的學生舍堂。

與此同時,我們亦在不同院校設立

STEM

教育中心,及於訓練中心配置虛擬實境

系統,以提升實境學習的成效。

增創價值 拓展合作

為提高本港職業專才教育質素,我們與

本地及海外多間機構建立雙贏的伙伴關

係,務求在職業教育及研發領域上發揮

更大的協同效應。

我們與各地政府及合作機構建立了良好

關係,不僅為學生提供充裕的學習機

會,也有助

VTC

團隊及其他職業專才教

育從業員提升實力。

去年,我們與廣西壯族自治區教育廳共

同成立的桂港現代職業教育發展中心,

便是一例。藉著這個平台,

VTC

與廣西

多間機構共享專業知識,進而將職業專

才教育推向東盟地區。
