(Applicable to (i) applicants during 9 Jun and 14 Jul 2026; and (ii) obtained conditional offer(s) on or before 24 Jun)

Please login to the "VTC S6 Admission Portal" to check your offer results / finalised offer results from 15 Jul 9:00 a.m. onwards. If you are given a Firm Offer, you are required to follow the steps to complete the registration via the "VTC S6 Admission Portal":

confirm acceptance of offer from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 15 Jul; and
download the payment advice and offer documents, pay the registration fee and upload the registration fee payment receipt to complete the registration by 20 Jul (12:00 noon).

Central Admission Scheme

Applicants may join the "Central Admission Scheme" via "VTC S6 Admission Portal" for admission to Full-time Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies, Diploma of Vocational Education and Diploma programmes from 15 July 9:00 a.m. to 20 July 12:00 noon. Applicants will be notified of the offer result within one day of application submission.

Applicants may also visit THEi / IVE / HKDI / HKIIT / HTI / CCI / ICI / YC campuses in person for on-site application and enquiries.

This programme focuses on training students in professional knowledge, language skills, and generic skills in film and animation production, laying a solid foundation for further studies. It adopts an interactive "think and do" approach, combining theory and practice to teach fundamental techniques and skills in animation and film production while fostering students' creativity and professional knowledge. The programme aims to provide a solid foundation in animation and film production, enabling students to pursue further studies while enhancing their understanding of the industry, including market trends and career pathways. Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
The programme is newly offered in AY2026/27. The validation of programme will be conducted in 2026.

Graduates of Diploma of Foundation Studies are eligible to apply for VTC’s Higher Diploma programmes, which normally require five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including Chinese Language and English Language.

Remarks

Diploma of Foundation Studies students may also consider taking the optional module 'Foundation Mathematics III' for the eligibility to apply for VTC's Higher Diploma programmes or related civil service jobs which require Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics as one of their entrance requirements. Separate tuition fee will be charged for this optional module.

Remarks

The study duration of Diploma of Foundation Studies programmes is normally 1 year. The tuition fee is payable in two installments. Each installment is HK$11,410.
In addition to tuition fees, students will be required to pay other fees, such as caution money and students’ union annual fees.
Some students may be required to study bridging modules or enhancement programmes to support their study; or to attend additional training, industrial attachments, public examinations for which separate fees will be charged.
Students of Diploma of Foundation Studies programmes may choose to take the optional module “Foundation Mathematics III” with a separate tuition fee.
Tuition fees are subject to annual review.
