
VTC Graduates (Diploma of Foundation Studies (DFS) / Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) / Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB)) may join the "VTC Graduate Offer Scheme" via "VTC S6 Admission Portal" / "VTC Articulation Portal" for admission to Full-time Higher Diploma programmes. Applicants may also go to IVE / HKDI campuses in person for joining the scheme and enquiry.
Applicants will be notified of the offer results on the day of submission of application.
Applicants will only be given one study place through the “VTC Graduate Offer Scheme”, any change or cancellation of the offer given, or to apply for other programmes is NOT allowed before the registration deadline.
- Five HKDSE subjects at Level 2 or above, including Chinese Language and English Language; OR
- VTC Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
- VTC Diploma of Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate; OR
- Diploma Yi Jin / Diploma of Applied Education; OR
- Relevant and substantial work experience and/or prior qualification(s) obtained in or outside Hong Kong (e.g. assessed through recognition of prior learning and credit accumulation and transfer), with demonstrated ability to undertake sub-degree education; OR
- Equivalent
- Applicants can use HKDSE Applied Learning (ApL) subjects (except ApL Chinese) for admission purpose. An "Attained", "Attained with Distinction (I)" and "Attained with Distinction (II)" in an ApL subject (Category B subjects) are regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at "Level 2", "Level 3" and "Level 4" respectively for admission purpose.
- For 2024 HKDSE and before, a "Grade D or E" and a "Grade C or above" in an HKDSE Other Language subject (Category C subjects) are regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at "Level 2" and "Level 3" respectively; From 2025 HKDSE onwards, Language Proficiency Level A2 or above in French / German / Spanish, N3 or above in Japanese and TOPIK II: Grade 3 or above in Korean are also recognised as one of the five HKDSE subjects in fulfilling the general entrance requirement. - An "Attained" in HKDSE Citizenship and Social Development is regarded as equivalent to an HKDSE subject at "Level 2" for admission purpose.
- If one of the five HKDSE subjects is Citizenship and Social Development, the general entrance requirement would become "Attained" for Citizenship and Social Development and Level 2 or above in four other HKDSE subjects including Chinese Language and English Language. Besides, Level 2 or above in Mathematics Extended Part (Module 1 or Module 2) is also recognised as one of the five HKDSE subjects in fulfilling the general entrance requirement. If applicants have taken both Module 1 and Module 2, either one of the modules (with a higher level) will be counted for admission purpose.
- Holders of Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) (students admitted to DVE in AY2017/18 or before are required to complete prescribed further studies modules) and holders of Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin / Diploma of Applied Education are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirement).
- Upon completion of the Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) programmes, students can progress to Degree or Higher Diploma programmes in VTC, subject to their BTEC and IGCSE results. Students shall pay attention to the specific entrance requirements of some Degree / Higher Diploma programmes.
- Some programmes are not applicable to holders of Diploma in Vocational Education / Diploma of Vocational Education (DVE) / Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) / Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin / Diploma of Applied Education; and some programmes may have other specific entrance requirements. Please refer to the specific entrance requirements of individual programmes.
- Applications with work experience and/or prior qualifications submitted will be assessed individually by the departments concerned.
- Offering of study place is subject to the applicants’ academic qualifications, work experience and/or prior qualification, interview performance (if applicable), other learning experience and achievements, and availability of study places.

- Submit application form and pay application fee HK$300.
- Upload application fee payment receipt (the application fee is non-refundable).
- Join “VTC Graduate Offer Scheme” to submit a maximum of 2 programme choices, and 1 campus preference for each programme choice.

- Join “VTC Graduate Offer Scheme” to submit a maximum of 2 programme choices, and 1 campus preference for each programme choice (user guide).

- Each applicant can only register a study place of one full-time programme.
- Applicants are required to complete registration before the deadline, which include paying a registration fee of HK$5,000 (by Faster Payment System (FPS) / ATM / e-Banking services / Pay at the Bank of East Asia by crossed cheque or cash, etc.). Failure to complete registration and pay the registration fee before the stipulated deadlines will render the study place offered null and void. Please refer to the details as stipulated in the registration documents.
- Provision of any false or misleading information or failure to provide relevant academic qualification for verification in the application will lead to disqualification without notice and cancellation of any resultant registration. Any fees paid will not be refunded.
- Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. Classes will be conducted in different modes, including face-to-face teaching, online teaching & learning and practical training as deemed appropriate. Registration fees paid are normally not refundable unless the programme is cancelled. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
Starting from the afternoon of 21 Jul, applicants who do not have any offer can apply for programmes which have available study places via "VTC S6 Admission Portal" / "VTC Articulation Portal". Detailed arrangements will be announced on this homepage later.
For Higher Diploma programmes, classes will commence on 1 Sep 2025 (Mon).
