- Applicants may login to the "VTC Web-based Admissions System" to change / re-prioritise their programme choices before the application deadline. No extra fee is charged.
- Please refer to the details of specific entrance requirements and programme curricula before submitting programme choices.

If applicants submit an application and pay the application fee during 9 May to 16 Jun 2025, they will:
- get a chance to be invited to attend interview(s) / test(s);
- obtain offer results on 29 Jul 2025;
- receive up-to-date programme and admission information via email or SMS.
Notes: Part-time Evening programmes accept applications from local students.
Definition of Local / Non-local Students
Provision of any FALSE or MISLEADING information in your application will lead to DISQUALIFICATION without notice and cancellation of any resultant registration. Any fees paid will not be refunded.
Please submit the application via the "VTC Web-based Admissions System" during the application period. Applicants must first register for an account to access the system, select the application form for the PTE programmes, and then follow the prescribed steps and instructions to complete their application.
- Please provide a valid and correct email address and mobile phone number in your application. Important information will be sent to you by email and SMS.
- After submitting the application, you should inform the Campus Secretariat of the first preference offering campus of the first programme choice immediately of any changes to your personal particulars. Applicants may update the registered email address, log-in password, Chinese name, contact no., corresponding address etc via the "VTC Web-based Admissions System". If applicants need to amend the English name, HKID No., or Date of Birth, please download the "Change of Particulars Notification Form" here.

Local Qualifications
- Applicants' HKDSE results will be extracted from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority's records.
- If applicants have taken the HKALE and/or HKCEE, please upload copies of the result slips.
- If applicants are VTC graduates, their academic qualifications awarded by VTC will be extracted from respective member institutions.
- If applicants have obtained other qualifications such as other local qualifications, qualifications obtained in Mainland China, other non-local qualifications, Yi Jin Diploma / Diploma Yi Jin / Diploma of Applied Education; and/or relevant working experiences documents*, please provide details in the relevant sections and upload copies of the result slips / relevant documents.
- Applicants who will obtain Diploma of Applied Education in 2025 should submit copies of the result slip / certificate to the Campus Secretariat of the first campus preference of the first programme choice as soon as possible.
* If the programme(s) you apply for stipulates that admission preference will be given to applicant with relevant work experience, please attach certification as appropriate.
Other Local, Mainland China and Other Non-local Qualifications
- Applicants may apply with other local, Mainland China or non-local qualifications. Applications will be assessed individually by the departments concerned. Please give relevant details in the section on "Other Local / Mainland China / Non-local Qualifications" and upload copies of the result slips.
Supplementary Information
- Applicants with Special Educational Needs
- Applicants with special circumstances: hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical handicap, speech impairment, intellectual disability, mental illness, autism spectrum disorder, visceral disability / chronic illness, specific learning difficulties, attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder.
- Please give details of the special educational needs in the section on "Supplementary Information" and upload copies of relevant documents.

- Mature Applicants
- If applicants are aged 21 or above on or before 1 Sep 2025 and they do not meet the entrance requirements for PTE programmes, they may apply for admission as a mature applicant.
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient motivation, knowledge, potential and ability that they would likely complete the programme successfully. Applications from mature applicants will be considered on an individual basis. Applicants will not have priority over other applicants, and only a limited number of places are offered to suitable mature applicants.

- Hong Kong Athlete Applicants

Remarks
If applicant fails to upload copies of the result slips / qualifications via the "VTC Web-based Admissions System", applicant may submit copies of relevant documents to the Campus Secretariat of the first campus preference of the first programme choice in person / by email on or before 16 Jun 2025. Please write down the applicant's name in English, HKID card number and contact phone number on the back of the copies / in the email.
Applicants who are required to attend interview and/or test (to be held during 4 - 12 Jul 2025) will be notified of the arrangements 3 working days before the interview / test via "VTC Web-based Admissions System" / email / SMS .
29 Jul 2025 (12:00 noon)
- Applicants may check their offer results via "VTC Web-based Admissions System" from 29 Jul 2025 12:00 noon onwards.
- Applicants with offer should download the payment advice and offer documents at "VTC Web-based Admissions System".
- After settled the fees listed in the Payment Advice, applicants are required to upload the payment receipt to "VTC Web-based Admissions System" to complete registration on or before 12:00 noon on 4 Aug 2025.
- Applicants who do not have any offer may apply for programmes which have available study places. These applicants are not required to pay the application fee again. Detailed topping up arrangements will be announced on 5 Aug 2025 (12:00 noon).
Notes
- Provision of any false or misleading information in your application will lead to disqualification without notice and cancellation of any resultant registration. Any fees paid will not be refunded.
- Classes of part-time evening programmes are normally held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Some programmes will have classes scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays or during Summer Semester.
- Applicants are required to produce their original copies of result slips / certificates / proof of working experience during registration for certification in due course.
- Students may be required to attend classes on other VTC campuses. Classes will be conducted in different modes, including face-to-face teaching, online teaching and learning, practical training as deemed appropriate. All fees paid will be refunded if the programme is cancelled. VTC reserves the right to cancel any programme, revise programme title, content or change the offering institute(s) / campus(es) / class venue(s) if circumstances so warrant.
