Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects / fieldwork; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To participate in campus / centre projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, student competitions and exhibitions; |
|
(e) |
To operate and maintain training facilities and equipment to support teaching and learning; |
|
(f) |
To conduct practical training on gas appliances and gas supply network for students with related to construction site operation; |
|
(g) |
To explain, demonstrate and update the teaching materials of the gas supply safety CoP/ ordinance/ regulation applied in construction projects; and |
|
(h) |
To explain and update the teaching materials of the gas supply network and appliances installation in modern premises with glass curtain walls. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised higher diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ work or teaching experience in the relevant industry; |
|
(c) |
A Registered Gas Installer (Class 1-8); |
|
(d) |
Solid construction site coordination experience; |
|
(e) |
Preferably with work experience in registered minor works contractor; |
|
(f) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
|
(g) |
Good knowledge of basic computer applications; |
|
(h) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure; and |
|
(i) |
The ability to pass a trade. |
