    Part-time Research Assistant I / II (Chinese Medicinal Pharmacy)

    Major Duties:
    The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) to carry out various horticultural work related to the Chinese medicine garden and ecological pathways, including watering, planting, pruning, weeding, clearing dead leaves, fertilization, pest control, and site layout.  He/she will be required to assist in project related events and documentation work, and perform other relevant duties as assigned by the PI.
       
    Requirements:
    For the post of Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management or related disciplines; or a recognised degree in related disciplines with relevant work experience; or equivalent. 
     
    For the post of Research Assistant II, applicants should have a recognised sub-degree in Horticulture, Arboriculture and Landscape Management or related disciplines; or equivalent level of study.
     
    Applicants should have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as good administrative, interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.  He/she should have strong sense of responsibility, good work initiative and the ability to work independently.  The appointee(s) will be required to work outdoor.
         
    Notes:
    (1) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
    (2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
