    Term Research Assistant I/II (Environmental)

    Employment Period:
    12 months (with the possibility of renewal)
     
    Major Duties:
    The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting research work related to wastewater treatment, anaerobic bioreactor design, and microalgae cultivation. He/she will be required to conduct experiments, materials testing, data analysis, preparation of report for publications and perform other research duties as assigned by the PI.
     
    Requirements:
    For the post of Term Research Assistant I, applicants should have a recognised Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related disciplines; or a recognised degree in related disciplines and work experience; or equivalent.
     
    For the post of Term Research Assistant II, applicants should have a sub-degree in Environmental Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or related disciplines; or equivalent level of study.
     
    Candidates with experience in membrane filtration, anaerobic digestion, sewage treatment are preferred but not essential. He/she should also have good interpersonal skills, as well as proficient communication skills in English and Chinese.
     
    Notes:
    (1) Candidate may be appointed on temporary or part-time employment.
    (2) The appointee may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, shifts and on Saturdays and Sundays.
    (3) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
    (4) The appointee will work on Tsing Yi Campus.
