    Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Lecturer (Building Services Engineering)
    School for Higher and Professional Education (Sha Tin)

    The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor’s degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for the post of Part-time Lecturer post offered by SHAPE (Sha Tin) for the full-time degree programme, BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering, in the academic year 2023/24.
     
    Subject Area:
    Energy Management and Performance Evaluation
     
    Major Duties:
    (a) To perform teaching duties at bachelor’s degree level;
    (b) To mark and provide guidance on students’ assessments and projects;
    (c) To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials with both international and local contexts and practices;
    (d) To carry out academic related administration duties, such as serving in academic and other related meetings;
    (e) To attend professional training and/or seminars as invited by the School, where necessary; and
    (f) To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary.
       
    Requirements:
    (a) A recognised master’s degree in related discipline(s); and
    (b) At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or relevant work experience in Building Services Engineering.
