    Term Executive Assistant II / III

    About HKDI-PEEC
    Professional Education and Engagement Centre (PEEC), a self-financed Centre under HKDI, a flagship Design Institution under Vocational Training Council (VTC), is a recognised professional training provider for the creative industries in Hong Kong.  We are a young, dynamic and professional team that look for creative and multi-tasking talents to join us. Our projects are diversified covering international and local partners across different creative disciplines including architecture, branding, filming, fashion design, jewellery, graphic communication, photography and interactive media.
     
    Major Duties:
    (a) To provide support in one or more of the following areas:
      (i) general administration, financial and personnel matters;
      (ii) student admissions and student affairs;
      (iii) database maintenance;
      (iv) clerical and administrative support for senior level staff; and
      (v) liaison with HKDI and VTC departments and external parties;
    (b) To handle phone enquiries and provide counter services;
    (c) To maintain and update website and social media platforms; and
    (d) To assist in different activities and events.
     
    Requirements:
    (a) (i) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
      (ii) A combination of results in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” or above in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E or above in Other Language subjects, and the 5 subjects should include English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR
      (iii) A recognized Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin;
    * Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
    (b) Proficiency in computer software application, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
    (c) Work experience in Business Administration, Project Coordination, Education, Marketing or Customer Service would be added advantages;
    (d) Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
    (e) Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and
    (f) Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua.
     
    Notes:
    (1) Applicants without the academic qualifications required but have completed Form 5 or equivalent may be considered for the post of Term Executive Assistant III.
    (2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a Computer Skills Test (CST) including document formatting, English and Chinese typing, and use of spreadsheet.
    (3) The appointee(s) may be required to work shifts and perform duties on Saturdays or Sundays as necessary.
