職業教育是培育新一代人才重要的一環，對
本港各個經濟領域的長遠發展，均舉足輕
重。香港特區政府一再強調職業專才教育的
重要價值，並為此確立清晰的發展方向。作
為法定機構，

致力為本港人才提供終身
學習良機，為職業專才教育的發展作出貢
獻，促進香港社會蓬勃向上。
2015/16
年度，我們著力落實目標，因應
國際環境的變化，擴充並完善課程範疇，為
學生踏入職場做好準備。

工作回顧
The past year has seen encouraging growth and progress in
the development of vocational and professional education and
training (VPET) in Hong Kong, as well as in the Vocational
Training Council (VTC) itself.
Vocational education plays a vital role in nurturing a new
generation of talented people for Hong Kong’s industries and
facilitating long-term expansion of the city’s economy. The
HKSAR Government has reaffirmed the importance of VPET
and set clear directions for promoting its development. As a
statutory body mandated to provide the city’s workforce with
high-quality, lifelong learning opportunities, the VTC is keen to
contribute to the growth of VPET and the betterment of Hong
Kong society at large.
In 2015/16, we took important steps towards achieving these
goals, notably by strengthening and diversifying our range of
programmes to meet the changing global environment, and by
better preparing students for the world of work.
