To address the growing demand for information technology (IT) professionals, VTC established the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT) in November 2023 as its 14th member institution. HKIIT is committed to providing high-quality IT and technology-related programmes for secondary school graduates, working professionals, and industry practitioners, covering two major areas: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Media and Entertainment Technology.

The HKIIT campus is located on Tsing Yi Island, offering learning facilities aligned with the latest IT trends, including Metaverse, Cybersecurity, Cloud Applications, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Analytics. Additionally, HKIIT delivers programmes across multiple campuses to support students from different districts, including IVE (Chai Wan), IVE (Kwun Tong), IVE (Lee Wai Lee), IVE (Sha Tin), and IVE (Tuen Mun).
