Admission Procedures on HKDSE Result Announcement Day (15 Jul 2026)

(Applicable to (i) applicants during 9 Jun and 14 Jul 2026; and (ii) obtained conditional offer(s) on or before 24 Jun)

Please login to the "VTC S6 Admission Portal" to check your offer results / finalised offer results from 15 Jul 9:00 a.m. onwards. If you are given a Firm Offer, you are required to follow the steps to complete the registration via the "VTC S6 Admission Portal":

confirm acceptance of offer from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 15 Jul; and
download the payment advice and offer documents, pay the registration fee and upload the registration fee payment receipt to complete the registration by 20 Jul (12:00 noon).

Central Admission Scheme

Applicants may join the "Central Admission Scheme" via "VTC S6 Admission Portal" for admission to Full-time Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma of Foundation Studies, Diploma of Vocational Education and Diploma programmes from 15 July 9:00 a.m. to 20 July 12:00 noon. Applicants will be notified of the offer result within one day of application submission.

Applicants may also visit THEi / IVE / HKDI / HKIIT / HTI / CCI / ICI / YC campuses in person for on-site application and enquiries.

Basic Information

The programme aims at helping students to develop, through a balanced curriculum with generic and vocational knowledge and skills, and structured whole person development competencies in a specific trade so as to enhance their opportunities for employment and/or further studies. The Image Design Programme covers mainly fundamental knowledge and skills required in the Image Design industry. Graduates may choose to seek employment or further their studies.

For some modules of the programmes, the medium of instruction and assessments is Chinese.

Holders of Diploma of Vocational Education (students admitted to DVE in AY2017/18 or before are required to complete prescribed further studies modules) are considered having met the general entrance requirements of Higher Diploma programmes (not applicable to programmes with specific entrance requirements). Please refer to the details of Higher Diploma programmes in this homepage.

Career Prospects

Graduates may engage in image design, makeup, hairstyling, as well as digital photography and editing related works, or pursue further studies.

Remarks

DVE students may consider taking the elective module “Mathematics 3E: Mathematics for Further Studies” for the eligibility to apply for VTC’s Higher Diploma programmes which require Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics as one of their general entrance requirements. Students may be required to pay a separate tuition fee for this elective module.
