Programme Content

To equip electrical practitioners with sound technical knowledge and practical skills to suit the demands at works as a competent electrical craftsman. Areas being covered include Electrical Installation Technology, Electrical Installation Practices, Electrical Control Practice, Electrical Skills Fundamental Training, Industrial Electronics, Direct Current Circuit, Alternating Current Circuit and High-voltage System & Equipment, etc.

Career Prospects

Graduates are normally employed as office maintenance electrician, electrical installation electrician and electrical services fitter.

Articulation

Graduates can apply for Certificate for Electrical Installation Technicians programme (Programme code : EG523405) offered by IVE.

Professional Recognition

This programme is approved by EMSD for the recognition as meeting the academic requirement for the registration as grade “A” electrical worker. Graduates may apply for Grade "A" electrical worker registration with sufficient working experience.
