The Structured Whole Person Development (SWPD) Programme is a holistic structured programme embedded in the curriculum which aims at enhancing students’ personal development through equipping them with appropriate transferable skills, attitudes and work values.
The Whole Person Development (WPD) modules are designed to facilitate students to be a competent and effective communicator, self-directed lifelong learner, engaged and ethical citizen, and physically and psychologically healthy person to face challenges in life.
Students admitted to Higher Diploma Programmes in academic year 2023/24 will be required to enrol and pass all Whole Person Development modules before graduation. Students possessing at least two-year full-time work experience (from the date of attaining the qualifications that meet the entry requirements of Higher Diploma Programme) can apply for module exemption which is subject to passing the related assessment.
