Diploma

The Diploma of Vocational Baccalaureate (DVB) is offered by the Youth College (International) (YCI), providing an additional articulation pathway for Secondary 3 to Secondary 5 students.

The curriculum is designed with reference to local and international academic standards, including the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework, IGCSE examinations and BTEC diploma programme of the United Kingdom, and adopts English as the medium of instruction for most of its modules.

The typical duration of the DVB is three years, and the curriculum aligns with international standards. The professional modules in design, engineering, and sports correspond to the UK BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma programme, allowing students to choose electives according to their interests and enhance their knowledge and skills through project-based learning.

Upon graduation, DVB students shall possess the academic standing recognised for both further studies in Hong Kong and ointernationally, or progress to degree or higher diploma programmes offered by VTC institutions^*.
