During my Higher Diploma in Architectural Studies, I established the key foundations that shaped my subsequent academic and professional development. The program enhanced my capacity for spatial thinking, concept development, and translating design intentions into clear architectural drawings and presentations. In parallel, I strengthened my technical competence in drafting, detailing, and architectural visualization. The course also deepened my understanding of structure, materials, and construction methods, with particular attention to how architectural details influence architectural outcomes. Studio work and formal critiques trained me to evaluate design proposals critically, respond effectively to feedback, and refine solutions with increasing rigor and professionalism.
