During my studies in the Higher Diploma in Architectural Technology and Design at IVE, I further enhanced my professional skills and deepened my understanding of architectural design, building technology, and engineering practices, building upon my prior experience in architectural drafting and BIM modelling.

The programme integrates both theory and practical application, covering areas such as BIM modelling, architectural design, construction drawing production, and project management. This enabled me to gain a more comprehensive understanding of how BIM is applied throughout architectural projects.

Through group projects and industry-based internships, I also strengthened my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. This learning experience not only broadened my professional perspective but also laid a solid foundation for my future career development in the architecture and engineering industries.

The IVE Engineering programme is widely recognized by local universities. After completing the Higher Diploma in Geospatial Science and Land Surveying, I successfully articulated to Year 3 of a bachelor's degree programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The programme combines theory with practical training through surveying exercises, projects, and internship opportunities. It equipped me with professional knowledge and technical skills in land surveying and geospatial science, while providing valuable insight into industry practices.
I am grateful for the supportive learning environment and opportunities offered by IVE, which helped prepare me for further studies and future career development. After graduation, I joined a private company in a surveying-related position, where I have been able to apply my knowledge and work independently. The programme provided a solid foundation for my professional growth and gave me the confidence to pursue a long-term career in the surveying and geospatial industry.
