Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in planning, designing, organising and evaluating student developmental programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in departmental projects and function, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Science, Social Work, Liberal Studies, or relevant discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(d) |
Candidates with experience in teaching and supporting students with Special Educational Needs will be an advantage. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidate will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
