Major Duties: |
|
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
|
(d) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, campus / discipline / departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
|
(c) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; preferably including Putonghua; |
|
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage; and |
|
|
(e) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure. |

Notes: |

|
(1) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
|
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
|
(3) |
The appointee(s) will be remunerated in hourly rate. |
|
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
