The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree and degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for the part-time Lecturer post offered by SHAPE (Tsing Yi) for the programme of Bachelor of Science (Hons) Information Technology, and Bachelor of Science (Hons) Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in the academic year 2026/27. |

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures, tutorial / laboratory practices / perform teaching duties at the bachelor’s degree level; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance / feedback on students’ assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To work of formative and summative assessments on students’ academic coursework; |
|
(d) |
To carry out academic related administration duties, including invigilating examination, serving in academic and other related meetings; |
|
(e) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
(f) |
To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised master’s degree in related disciplines; |
|
(b) |
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or relevant work experience; and |
|
(c) |
Experience in research, dissertation / project supervision is highly preferable. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
