Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic and Information Engineering, Multimedia, Digital Media or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
A high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; |
|
(c) |
A good team player and able to work independently and work under pressure; |
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies or with solid industry experience would be an advantage; |
|
(e) |
For the specialisation of Multimedia and Entertainment Technology: |
|
|
(i) |
Good knowledge in multimedia, digital media applications and interactive installations; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Good knowledge in game development or animation production; OR |
|
|
(iii) |
Good knowledge in VR / AR development; OR |
|
|
(iv) |
Good knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) application and generative AI development for digital; |
|
|
For the specialisation of Information and Communications Technology: |
|
|
(i) |
Good knowledge in artificial intelligence (AI) application development; OR |
|
|
(ii) |
Good knowledge in software application development; and |
|
(f) |
Preferred Qualifications (Mandarin Proficiency): |
|
|
(i) |
Native Mandarin speaker; or |
|
|
(ii) |
Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher where the medium of instruction was Mandarin; or |
|
|
(iii) |
Have at least 3 years of work experience in mainland China or other Mandarin-speaking countries / regions; or |
|
|
(iv) |
Have passed the Mandarin Proficiency Test with a score of at least Level 3B (三级乙等) or above. |

Notes: |

(1) |
The post is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
