Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(e)
|
To plan, organize and deliver in-service and life-long learning courses in Vocational and professional education and training (VPET). |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Health and Life Sciences; preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
With experience in collaborating across departments to develop interdisciplinary student projects; and |
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies. |

Notes: |

|
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of “Term Assistant Lecturer” which is at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
(2)
|
The initial posting is in IVE(Kwai Chung). The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(4)
|
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
