Pro-Act Training and Development Centre (Mechanical)

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties in the area of related engineering including supervision of students’ projects / fieldwork;
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)	To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and
(d)	To participate in campus / centre projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, student competitions and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a)	A recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering disciplines; preferably with a relevant post-graduate qualification;
(b)	Preferably with relevant teaching / industry experience;
(c)	Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(d)	A good team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.

Notes:
(1)	The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”.
(2)	Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.
(3)	The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
(4)	In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
