Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures and workshops / tutorials of the assigned modules(s) including the preparation of teaching materials, supervision of students’ projects, marking student assessments and other academic activities; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To carry out administrative duties for the discipline as assigned by management; |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars, exhibitions; and |
|
(f) |
To organise events or competitions for students. |
|

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience in Exhibition Design and/or Event Staging and/or Event Management; |
|
(c) |
Experience in organising large-scale events, exhibitions or competitions, preferably in educational institutions or major organisations; |
|
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(e) |
A good team player with a proactive attitude; |
|
(f) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in curriculum and new module development; and |
|
(g) |
Candidates with good understanding of VPET education would be an advantage. |
