    Term Executive Assistant II
    Student Development Discipline

    Major Duties:
    (a) To provide clerical support in general administration, procurement and stores management, financial and fees collection matters of the Halls;
    (b) To assist in Halls admission exercise, guest rooms and facilities booking, check-in and check-out of hall residents;
    (c) To provide customers and counter services to hall residents, visitors and guests and handle telephone enquiries and e-mails;
    (d) To provide support in event arrangement and logistics;
    (e) To assist in website maintenance and prepare promotional materials; and
    (f) To prepare correspondence/statistics/reports.
       
    Requirements:
    (a) (i) Level 2 or above in 5 subjects, including English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination, or equivalent^; OR
      (ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in 5 subjects including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); OR
      (iii) Diploma of Applied Education + Maths Plus / Diploma Yi Jin + Maths Plus / Project Yi Jin; OR
      (iv) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate / Diploma of Foundation Studies; OR
      (v) A recognised Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or above.
    * Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC’s Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
    ^ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in HKDSE Examination are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects.
    (b) Proficiency in the use of computer software application, including MS 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
    (c) Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
    (d) Detail-minded, able to work independently and be a good team player;
    (e) Good work initiative and be customer oriented; and
    (f) Relevant work experience (e.g., those in the hospitality field/student hostels) will be an added advantage.
     
    Notes:
    (1) The appointee(s) will be required to work irregular hours or shifts and perform duties on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
    (2) Preference will be given to applicants with immediate availability.
