Part-time Lecturer (PgD & CPD)

Institute of Professional Education And Knowledge (PEAK) is one of the member institutions of the Vocational Training Council responsible for the provision of in-service training and professional examination services. More than 200 major companies have utilised its corporate training services.

Subject Areas:
(i)	Postgraduate Diploma programme for the fields of Insurance and Risk Management (particularly for topics of Corporate Governance and Compliance, Property Insurance, Liability Insurance, Life and Medical Insurance, Operational Risk Management, Financial Planning, etc.)
(ii)	Professional Diploma in Insurance and Financial Planning (particularly for topics of Insurance Organization Operations, Property Insurance, Liability Insurance, Life and Health Insurance, Life Insurance Underwriting and Claims, etc.)
(iii)	Various topics of (i) Investment, (ii) Financial Planning, (iii) Insurance, (iv) Legal, (v) Health etc. for CPD or In-company related training courses

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties;
(b)	To propose lesson plan;
(c)	To develop and prepare training materials, assignments, examination papers and marking schemes;
(d)	To mark students’ assignments and examinations;
(e)	To carry out duties related to student and academic administration; and
(f)	To attend meetings when necessary.

Requirements:
(a)	A relevant recognised degree or FCII, or ANZIIF (Fellowship), or CFA, CFP, or FRM designation or equivalent (and at least a master degree for teaching post-graduate programme, preferably with doctorate qualification with experience in dissertation supervision);
(b)	At least 3 years’ relevant work experience, with training experience an added advantage; and
(c)	Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese.
