Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To provide training and support to pre-employment students / learning adults regarding the use of artificial intelligence; |
|
(c) |
To develop and update the teaching and learning package to ensure content remains current and effective; |
|
(d) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(e) |
To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify needs and suitable AI-powered solutions, and to integrate them into relevant training programmes and generic IT modules; and |
|
(f) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and / or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Strong teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Ability in coordinating and implementing of innovation & technology, special and strategic initiative projects; and |
|
(e) |
Self-initiative, willingness to meet challenges and a good team player with ability to work independently as well as work under pressure. |

Notes: |
|
(1) |
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of “Term Assistant Lecturer”, at the rank of Teaching Associate. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
|
(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(4) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside campus. |
