Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties in social work modules, including supervision of students’ projects / fieldwork practicum in social work settings; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A recognised degree in Social Work or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification, |
(b) |
Registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance Chapter 505 and holding valid practicing certificate; |
(c) |
At least 5 years’ full-time post-degree teaching and/or industry experience in social work practice; |
(d) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
(e) |
Good records of supervision experience in social work settings and connection with the industry or professional bodies would be added advantages. |
