The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree programmes to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree and degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for the part-time Lecturer post offered by SHAPE (Tsing Yi) for the programme of Bachelor of Science (Hons) Information Technology, in the academic year 2025/26. |

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures / tutorial / laboratory practices / perform teaching duties at the bachelor’s degree level; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance / feedback on students’ assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To carry out academic related administration duties, including invigilating examination, serving in academic and other related meetings; |
|
(d) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised master’s degree in related disciplines; |
|
(b) |
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching experience at tertiary / degree level or relevant work experience; and |
|
(c) |
Experience in research, dissertation / project supervision is highly preferable. |
