Major Duties: |
|
The appointee(s) would take up duties of AI Chatbot Development in the area of System Development: |
|
(a) |
To develop, deploy and integrate Large Language Model (LLM) chatbot systems (e.g. Transformers architecture) with existing tools; |
|
(b) |
To collect, clean, prepare and pipeline data for chatbot training and deployment; |
|
(c) |
To test, evaluate, and refine chatbot solutions based on user feedback and to support rollout, user training, and troubleshooting; and |
|
(d) |
To evaluate and recommend Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to meet user requirements. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
(i) |
A relevant recognised degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI); OR |
|
|
(ii) |
A relevant recognised higher diploma or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI); |
|
|
(Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in AI field but without the required academic / professional qualifications may also apply.) |
|
(b) |
Preferably with academic qualifications in science related discipline; |
|
(c) |
Applicants with good knowledge / certifications and hands-on experience in ANY of the following aspects will be an advantage: |
|
|
(i) |
Python 3.x and libraries that deal with HuggingFace, Tensors, API Calls, and web scraping; |
|
|
(ii) |
Prompt Engineering; |
|
|
(iii) |
LLM security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies; |
|
|
(iv) |
Top-ranking open and closed source LLM chatbots for both English and Chinese; and |
|
|
(v) |
LLM-related technologies or software regarding the use of models utilising the Transformers Architecture. |
|
(d) |
Proficiency in English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Good interpersonal skills, self-initiative and be a good team player. |

The post is at the rank of “Officer”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with less relevant experience and / or qualification may be considered for the post of IT Specialist, at the rank of “Technician”. |
|
(3) |
Appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and / or at different work locations on a need basis. |
|
(4) |
Appointee(s) may be posted to any operational units of the VTC, for example a campus / centre, to carry out similar duties, and have different post titles which are subject to change at the Council’s discretion. |
