The School for Higher and Professional Education (SHAPE) is a self-financed arm of the Vocational Training Council (VTC). It offers top-up bachelor degree to VTC’s Higher Diploma graduates and other sub-degree holders in collaboration with overseas universities. Applications are now invited for Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Lecturer post for the following module of the BSc (Hons) Digital Media degree programme to be launched in our Lee Wai Lee campus. |

Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To conduct lectures/ perform teaching duties at the bachelor's degree level; |
|
(b) |
To mark and provide guidance/ feedback on students' assessments and projects; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To carry out academic-related administration duties, including serving in academic and other related meetings, and |
|
(e) |
To participate in school projects and functions, where necessary. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised Master’s degree in Digital Media / Live Entertainment / Entertainment Technology, and or equivalent professional qualification in Audio-Visual Entertainment Technology; |
|
(b) |
At least 4 years’ relevant teaching / work experience at higher diploma / associate degree level / the tertiary level or above, or solid experience in relevant industries experience; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in English; and |
|
(d) |
Preference will be given to candidates who have solid experience in teaching in curriculum of audio, visual programming and special effects for the event operation, and training materials development. |
