|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching related duties, including conducting lectures, seminars and laboratory sessions, preparation for teaching and learning packages, setting and marking students’ assessments, supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Architecture, Building Surveying or equivalent professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
For “Building Surveying” stream, preference will be given to members of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors; |
|
(d) |
Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(e) |
Good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies would be an advantage. |
