Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To assist in carrying out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(e) |
To participate in departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree, preferably in Pet Care, Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Zoology, Biology, or equivalent, preferably with postgraduate qualifications; |
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; |
(c) |
Relevant work experience in pet industry (e.g. pet care service, pet grooming service, animal nutrition, etc.) would be an advantage; and |
(d) |
Good records of linkage with the pet care service industry would be an added advantage. |

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
