Shine Skills Centre is a member of the VTC Group. In a caring environment, the Centre provides a wide range of industry-specific skill training and support services for people with disabilities aged 15 or above to enhance their employability and support their integration into the society. |

Major Duties: |
(a) |
To take charge of the infection control of the Centre, oversee the medical room and to assist in providing a hygienic environment in the skills centre; |
(b) |
To educate trainees / rehabilitees on hygienic practices; |
(c) |
To arrange for emergency attention in hospital and clinic; |
(d) |
To administer medicine to trainees / rehabilitees who are under constant medication, and to administer first-aid treatment to trainees / rehabilitees in the skills centre; |
(e) |
To assist the Medical Officer in the assessment of the nature and degree of disability of the rehabilitees; |
(f) |
To provide nursing care, health education and counselling to students according to their needs; and |
(g) |
To coordinate and communicate with other health care professionals and social resources to meet students’ needs. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A Certificate of Registration (Part I) and a valid Practicing Certificate issued by Nursing Council of Hong Kong; |
(b) |
Preferably with training in psychiatric nursing; |
(c) |
Preferably with knowledge and experience in working with students with special educational needs; and |
(d) |
A good team player with the ability to work independently under pressure. |

(1) |
The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and / or outside centres. |
(2) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
