Major Duties: |
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

Requirements: |
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/or industry experience, preferably at an appropriate level of responsibility; |
(c) |
Solid experience in one of the areas: Blender/Maya, Zbrush, Unreal Engine, Substance (experience in Disguise is an advantage); |
(d) |
Proficiency with CGI Creation in one of the areas: 3D modeling, lighting, texturing, rigging, tracking, simulation, compositing; |
(e) |
Good presentation, interpersonal and team building skills; |
(f) |
A high level of proficiency in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua; and |
(g) |
Proven records of linkage with industry / professional bodies will be an advantage. |

Notes: |
(1) |
Applicants with less relevant experience and/or qualification may be considered for the post of Term / Part-time (Daytime) Assistant Lecturer, at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
(3) |
Appointees may be required to work irregular hours / outside normal office hours and/or at different work locations on a need basis. |
