Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Lecturer (Arboriculture / Horticulture / Tree Management / Urban Forestry)

Major Duties:
(a)	To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
(b)	To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c)	To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;
(d)	To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and
(e)	To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements:
(a)	A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b)	At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/ or industry experience;
(c)	Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and
(d)	Applicants should have / be a valid:
	(i)	Certified Arborist / Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist Board Certified Master Arborist credential(s) of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA); or
	(ii)	Professional Member or Fellow of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom; or
	(iii)	European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council; or equivalent.

Note:
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
