Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching and/ or industry experience; |
|
(c) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and |
|
(d) |
Applicants should have / be a valid: |
|
|
(i) |
Certified Arborist / Certified Arborist Municipal Specialist Board Certified Master Arborist credential(s) of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA); or |
|
|
(ii) |
Professional Member or Fellow of the Arboricultural Association of the United Kingdom; or |
|
|
(iii) |
European Tree Technician of the European Arboricultural Council; or equivalent. |
