    Senior Marketing Executive
    Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong

    The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi or Institute) offers 22 innovative degree programmes across our 6 Academic Departments, namely Department of Food and Health Sciences, Department of Construction, Environment and Engineering, Department of Sport and Recreation, Department of Hospitality and Business Management, Department of Design and Architecture, and Department of Digital Innovation and Technology, that are vocationally and professionally oriented and developed with significant industry input.  All programmes are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, and also accredited by the relevant professional bodies where appropriate.  THEi prepares Work Ready, Future Ready graduates through our strong applied degree and professional education programmes.  All programmes require work integrated learning (WIL) and engage students inactive learning pedagogies including a strong focus on project-based learning involving real-world problem solving with and for local industries and professions.  THEi partners closely with industry to provide intensive internship and project opportunities.  Students also actively participate in knowledge exchange activities to develop professional insights.  THEi is an innovative, professional and entrepreneurial organisation with a commitment to greening and sustainability.  For more information about our Institute, please visit https://www.thei.edu.hk.

    Major Duties:
    General Duties:
    (a) Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office;
    (b) Oversee the work of marketing executives (or equivalent) and monitor their performance; and
    (c) Perform any ad hoc duties/projects as assigned by the supervisor.
    Post 1
    (a) Manage and develop content for all social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram, WeChat and LinkedIn;
    (b) Assist in creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing;
    (c) Coordinate with marketing agencies to develop media-buying strategies; and
    (d) Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of school visits, workshops, and Education Expo.
    Post 2
    (a) Draft external-facing materials, such as press releases, media pitches, company news, speeches, and other corporate communication materials;
    (b) Coordinate media interviews and event shootings;
    (c) Monitor and report on media coverage; and
    (d) Assist in organizing and executing public relations events, including media luncheons, opening ceremonies, MOU signing ceremonies, forums, etc.
    Post 3
    (a) Create and adapt various graphics for promotional materials, such as social media channels, website, publications, and events;
    (b) Collaborate with graphic/video production houses for visual/video production;
    (c) Coordinate with internal and external parties for publication production, including brochures, leaflets, video editing, image retouching, and publication printing; and
    (d) Assist in organizing local and overseas Education Expo events.
    (a) (i) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E / Level 2 or above, including English Language (Syllabus B)*, Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR

    A combination of results in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above in New Senior Secondary subjects / “Attained” or above in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; and the 5 subjects should include English Language*, Chinese Language and Mathematics; OR
      (iii) A recognised Certificate / Diploma / Foundation Diploma / Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin;
    * Completion of Hong Kong Vocational English Programme (HKVEP) at Level 2 / Passing 5 specific VTC's Vocational English Module Certificates is considered an alternative qualification.
    (b) At least 6 years of relevant work experience.  Candidates with higher academic qualification but with less experience may also apply;
    (c) Relevant experience in the tertiary education sector would be an advantage;
    (d) Excellent journalistic writing skill and proofreading technique in both English and Chinese is an advantage (For Post 2);
    (e) Knowledge of photography is an advantage (For Post 3);
    (f) A high proficiency in common office application software;
    (g) Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and
    (h) Ability to work independently and be a good team player.
    (1) The post is in the rank of Executive Assistant I.
    (2) Shortlisted applicants will be required to attend and pass a written test.
    (3) The appointees may be required to work irregular hours or shifts and perform duties on Saturdays and Sundays as necessary.
    (4) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
    (5) The appointee(s) will work on Chai Wan Campus.
