    Temporary Project Officer
    Planning Office of Interdisciplinary Unit

    Employment Period:
    Late April to early August 2020
    Major Duties:
    To perform teaching duties of vocational modules of Interdisciplinary Unit (IU) programmes including supervision of students’ projects;

    To provide academic administrative support to IU programmes such as student admission, student administration and records, student activities and exchange, examinations, Boards of Examiners (BoE) meetings, timetabling and SEN coordination;
    To assist in the planning and implementation of IU Dual-track Pilot Scheme and develop unit standards for Workplace Learning and Assessment (WLA); and
    To coordinate and support the Periodic Institutional Review (PIR) and re-validation exercises for IU HD programmes.
    (a) A relevant recognized degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
    (b) At least 3 years’ relevant teaching experience and/or industry experience;
    (c) Solid experience in programme development, administration and accreditation;
    (d) Proactive attitude, creativity mind-set, high interpersonal intelligence and good team building skills; and
    (e) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
    (1) The post is in the rank of Lecturer.
    (2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English.
    The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places
    as assigned.
