IVE Engineering students successfully
completed a 3,000 km race across
the Australian outback at the World
Solar Challenge 2015 with their self-
developed, fifth-generation solar-
powered car Sophie V.
Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI)
and IVE (Lee Wai Lee) collaborated
with international museums and
organisations from Denmark, Switzerland
and Spain to organise three international
design exhibitions of typography, urban
regeneration and architecture. A Grand
Inaugural Ceremony was held at the
Design Boulevard of the campus to
launch the four-month-long exhibitions,
which are aimed at inspiring local design
talent and the public.
