Extensive Job Attachment
Opportunities
To ensure its students stay up-to-date
with industry developments and are
ready to work upon graduation, the
VTC maintains close relationships with
industry partners to explore practical
learning opportunities for them. As a
mandatory component in the curricula
of all HD programmes, industry
attachments provide students with the
opportunities to apply their knowledge
and skills in a real work setting and
enhance their competencies for future
employment. In 2015/16, about
10,000 students undertook industry
attachments during their studies.

學生謀求實習機會，確保他們緊貼行
業發展，為將來投身社會作好準備。所
有高級文憑課程的學生均須參加工作實
習，在實際工作環境運用所學的知識和
技能，增強就業競爭力。

VTC
從多方面着手，支援學生規劃未來
事業。我們已將全人發展學習單元融入
所有課程；這套有系統的學習單元能助
學生培養正面態度和價值觀，提升軟技
巧。而「職前加油站」計劃則以應屆畢業
生為對象，加強他們的面試技巧，為進
修和就業做好準備。
Career Advisory and
Support Services
Multi-faceted efforts have been put into
supporting students in planning their
future careers. The Structured Whole
Person Development Programme, which
is incorporated into the curriculum,
inculcates positive attitudes and values
in students and enhances their soft
skills. The Career Booster programmes,
targeted at graduating students, help
to sharpen their interview skills in
preparation for further studies and
employment.
