去年，
VTC
一如既往，繼續與本地、區內
及全球伙伴緊密聯繫。
透過與本地業界建立強大協作網絡，我
們為約
10,000
名學生提供行業實習機
會，讓他們在真實的工作環境中實踐所
學，提升未來就業的競爭實力。
此外，
VTC
又與國內外多個知名機構結
為合作伙伴，遍及中國內地、奧地利、
丹麥、芬蘭、意大利、墨西哥、挪威、
瑞典及英國。
完善基建及人力資源
2015/16
年間，我們在青衣新建的學生
舍堂已告竣工，並於
2016
年
9
月全面
啟用，為學生提供現代化的生活空間，
創造友善融洽的住宿環境。
另外，香港高等教育科技學院及國際廚
藝學院分別坐落於柴灣和薄扶林的新校
舍，亦在興建之中，預計先後於
2017
年
及
2018
年落成。
Forging Stronger Ties
with Partners
Local, regional and global engagement
remained an important strategic
objective of the VTC in 2015/16.
Through our strong networks with local
industry partners, we were able to
provide about 10,000 students with
industry attachment opportunities
during their studies, allowing them to
apply their knowledge and skills to a
real work setting and enhance their
competencies for future employment.
New partnerships have been forged
with renowned national and global
institutions in Austria, China, Denmark,
Finland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Sweden
and the UK.
Enhancing Infrastructure
and Human Resources
During 2015/16, construction of a
new halls of residence in Tsing Yi
was completed, enabling it to come
into full operation in September
2016. It will provide students with
modern residential living space and a
welcoming, inclusive community life.
Construction is meanwhile under
way of new campuses for the
Technological and Higher Education
Institute of Hong Kong in Chai Wan
and the International Culinary Institute
in Pokfulam, scheduled for completion
in 2017 and 2018 respectively.
