The ageing population calls for increasing professional elderly and rehabilitation services in both private and public sectors. The need for manpower equipped with the requisite professional qualifications and experiences is all the more urgent with the industry, thus providing ample development opportunities for young people.

Duration of Study | 24 months |
Scheme Arrangement | Arranged by Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service, participants will be employed as Care Worker in the first year. After registered as a health worker and meet the requirements of employers, participants can be promoted to Health Worker. During the period, participants will study the part-time Diploma of Foundation Studies (Elderly and Rehabilitation Services) at IVE two days per week |
Salary | Participants will receive monthly salary of $10,670 (Care Worker) or $12,820 (Health Worker) from their employer |
Tuition Subsidy | Tuition fees will be reimbursed to participants upon completion of the programme^ |
Entry Requirement |
Aged 18 – 25 with completion of Secondary 6 or above Applicants will be required to attend job and admission interviews |
