Welcome to the homepage of IVE (Morrison Hill)

Established for more than 50 years since 1969, IVE (Morrison Hill), formerly known as Morrison Hill Technical Institute, was the first technical institute offering vocational education and training. Located in Wan Chai where the modern history of Hong Kong began some one hundred and seventy years ago, IVE (Morrison Hill) has committed itself to providing quality vocational education and pre-employment training to students and working adults who aspire to develop their career in the fields of construction, engineering, information technology and design.

There are five academic departments/sections, namely Department of Construction, Department of Engineering, Information Technology Discipline Foundation Programme Section, Design Discipline Foundation Programme Section and Department of Communication Design which are supported by the Language Centre and the Student Development Office. Morrison Hill is truly the melting pot of all cultures. We offer vocational and professional education and training, with emphases on academic and professional training as well as students’ whole-person development.

Our campus is equipped with updated teaching facilities including Building Information Modeling (BIM) Centre, down-to-earth Building Services Engineering Workshops, and the latest Innovation and Technology Co-creation Centre (ITCC), which are ready for students’ use to prepare for a professional career path in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Services Engineering and Information Technology. The Visual Arts and Culture Studios provide all the space design students need to develop their ideas from scratch to end products.

Our students from DESIGN, ENGINEERING and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY disciplines are eager to show you their learning environment and to share with you their colourful campus life. Just drop by to feel it.
