Road to Marathon

“Road to Marathon” provides students an opportunity to challenge their personal limit and hone their perseverance through long-distance running. Students who have completed the programme would be sponsored to join a marathon or relevant long-distance running race.

Recruitment of Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education Athletics Club Member cum Registration of 2014 HKAAA Athlete

背景
Background		 每年渣打香港馬拉松報名人數均十分踴躍，為確保更多VTC同學能參加此體育盛事，學生發展學科辦事處現招募同學加入香港專業教育學院田徑會會作屬會並註冊成香港業餘田徑總會2014年運動員，以便他們能以屬會身份優先報名。此外，他們還能免費使用香港業餘田徑總會租用的運動場進行田徑訓練。

Every year, the number of enrollment of Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon is very full. In order to ensure more students can participate in this sports event, Student Development Discipline Office is going to recruit students to join Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education Athletic Club and register as Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association 2014 Athletes, so that they can enroll the races in advance. In addition, they also have free access to Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association rented sports ground for track and field training.

Priority entry would be offered for those HKAAA long distance run events below
  1. 9/11/2014 Asics 香港十公里挑戰賽 (Asics Hong Kong 10km Challenge)
  2. 14/12/2014 Brooks 香港十五公里挑戰賽 (Brooks Hong Kong 15km Challenge)
  3. 1/2015 Mizuno 香港半馬拉松錦標賽 (Mizuno Hong Kong Half Marathon Championship)
  4. 25/1/2015 渣打香港馬拉松 (Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon)
2. 免費使用香港業餘田徑總會租用的運動場進行田徑訓練
Free access to Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association rented sports ground for track and field training, the venue and time were shown as below
  1. 灣仔運動場 逢星期一至五晚上六至九時
    Wan Chai Sports ground, every Mondays to Fridays 18:00 to 21:00
  2. 深水埗運動場 逢星期三、五晚上六至九時
    Sham Shui Po Sports ground, every Wednesdays and Fridays 18:00 to 21:00
資格
Requirement
  1. 成為香港專業教育學院田徑會會員
    HKIVE Athletics Club Member
  2. 成為香港業餘田徑總會2014年註冊運動員(有效期至31/12/2014)
    HKAAA Registered Athlete (Valid until 31/12/2014)
申請程序
Application Procedure
  1. 填妥「附件一」的香港專業教育學院田徑會會員申請表
    Fill in the HKIVE Athletics Club Membership Form
  2. 填妥「附件二」的香港業餘田徑總會二零一四年運動員註冊証申請書
    Fill in the HKAAA Registration of Athlete Application Form
  3. 一張 $40或 $80元正劃線支票，抬頭寫上「香港業餘田徑總會有限公司」
    A $40 or $80 crossed cheque payable to “Hong Kong Amateur Athletic Association Ltd.”
    (註冊費: 19歲或以下為40元，20歲或以上80元，1994年出生均視為20歲)
    (Reg. fee: 19 years old or below $40, 20 years old or above $80, born in 1994 will be treated as 20 years old.)
  4. 兩張證件相 (40mm闊 x 50mm高，單色背景，並在背面寫上姓名)
    2 passport photos (40mm width x 50mm height) with single-colour background
  5. 填妥後請連同有關文件於交回各院校體育部
    Submit all the documents to Physical Education Section
