|
Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties, including preparation and delivery of programme materials, supervision of students’ projects and other academic activities; |
|
(b) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; |
|
(c) |
To assist in updating and developing programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials; |
|
(d) |
To assist in the validation and accreditation of programmes; and |
|
(e) |
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |
|
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A relevant recognised degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Entrepreneurship, E-Commerce, Communications, or relevant discipline, preferably with post-graduate qualifications; |
|
(b) |
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; preferably including Putonghua; |
|
(c) |
Strong commitment to serve the youth and with experience in managing less academically-inclined students; |
|
(d) |
Good records of linkage with industry / professional bodies; |
|
(e) |
Proven experience in business operations, sales, or marketing management is an advantage; |
|
(f) |
Background in content creation (photography / videography for social media) with a portfolio to showcase is preferable; and |
|
(g) |
Knowledge in at least one of the following areas would be an advantage: |
|
|
(i) |
Familiarity with AI applications; |
|
|
(ii) |
Strategies and execution methods of KOL / Influencer Marketing; |
|
|
(iii) |
Basic operations and advertising strategies of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Google; |
|
|
(iv) |
Planning and executing e-Commerce, online store operation strategies; and |
|
|
(v) |
Analysing markets, consumer behaviour, competitors, and advertising data. |

(1) |
The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |

(3) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment in English. |
|
(4) |
The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and / or different sites to suit the council’s operational needs. |
|
(5) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
