Major Duties: |
|
(a) |
To perform teaching duties; |
|
(b) |
To develop and revise programme curriculum, teaching & learning and assessment materials; |
|
(c) |
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration; and |
|
(d) |
To assist in organising projects and functions, including extra-curriculum activities and volunteer services. |
|
|
|
Requirements: |
|
(a) |
A recognised degree in Information Technology or equivalent, preferably with a post-graduate qualification; |
|
(b) |
At least 3 years’ relevant teaching / training experience; |
|
(c) |
Good presentation, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese; |
|
(d) |
Ability to work independently and under pressure; |
|
(e) |
Be a good team player and able to work collaboratively with teammates. |
|
(f) |
Good understanding of the learning needs of Non-engaged Youth (NEY); and |
|
(g) |
Good experience with Ethric Minority Youth (EMY) would be an advantage. |

The post is at the rank of “Teaching Associate”. |
|
(2) |
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment. |
|
(3) |
The appointee will work at Ma On Shan Campus but may be posted to other designated sites to suit the operational needs. |
|
(4) |
In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, all prospective appointees will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process. |
